- סַהֲרוֹןm., pl. סַהֲרוֹנִים (b. h. שַׂהֲרֹנִים; preced.; cmp. זְהוֹרִית) crimson (or saffron) colored ribbons. Y.Sot.IX, 24c top וסַהֲרוֹנֵי זהב תלויין בהן with gold-embroidered ribbons hanging thereon (Tosef. ib. XV, 9 זהוריות מוזהבות); (oth. opin.: moon-shaped ornaments of gold).
